Description

Find out how Digital Technologies can support the Key Competencies, Principles, and Values of the New Zealand Curriculum.

Aimed at Yrs 1–10, this webinar explores the relationship between the new Digital Technologies content and the wider New Zealand curriculum. We will explore how the digital technologies areas (Computational thinking for digital technologies, and Designing and developing digital outcomes), can give an authentic context for the key competencies, principles, and values.

This virtual meetup is aligned to the Ministry of Education’s digital technologies implementation support tool and starts at being '2020 ready'. It supports you to continue to get into the detail of the curriculum content, grow your own understanding and 'leading and innovating', by supporting you to feel confident with an Ako style of teaching and learning.
