Description

A three part introduction series to 3D design by using basic shapes to create more advanced objects.

These three webinars will be looking at using Tinkercad and how we can use it to build 3D objects from a blank canvas. Tinkercad is easy to understand which makes getting it onto the classroom hassle free.

The first webinar will be introducing Tinkercad, the second and third webinars will be using 3D shapes to explore possibilities. We will also look at how these activities relate to progress outcomes and the Technology learning area. Note: these sessions will be interactive with participants being guided to use Tinkercad themselves throughout the sessions. No prior experience in Tinkercad is required.

  • Part 1 - Tuesday 3 November 3:30-4:00pm
  • Part 2 - Wednesday 4 November 3:30-4:00pm
  • Part 3 - Thursday 5 November 3:30-4:00pm

This virtual meetup is aligned to the Ministry of Education’s digital technologies implementation support tool and starts at 'now underway'. It supports you to unpack the detail, get organised for change, through being '2020 ready', to 'leading and innovating', by supporting you to feel confident with an Ako style of teaching and learning.
